We invite you to become a part of this exciting new project. Latin America holds great potential for the expansion of the work of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. With the purchase of this new property, we hope to greatly expand our pastoral activities, providing more classes and opportunities for spiritual formation. We hope to host vocational and other retreats, and in the near future, to open a first-year house of formation for the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. The FSSP currently trains seminarians in English, French, and German, but does not yet have a formation program in Spanish, the language spoken by the largest number of Catholics in the world.
As the second largest city in Mexico and the archdiocese which was home to so many of the Cristero martyrs, Guadalajara is an ideal location for a Latin American house of formation.
Please consider making a donation or signing up for a monthly pledge.
We need $7,000 in monthly pledges.
“Important note regarding contributions by US citizens in support of the mission works of the FSSP in Mexico: IRS regulations do not allow us to issue a tax-deduction letter for contributions that are directly restricted to a specific foreign charity.
Thus, please understand that, in order for your contribution to be tax-deductible, it must be given and received as a “general contribution” in support of the Fraternity’s work, with a non-binding recommendation that the Fraternity continue its support of their foreign missions.
If you wish to forgo your tax deduction and thereby have the funds directly applied to the mission works, please indicate this on the giving form.“
